I wish I got what happened to me yesterday on film
I’m 5 feet off the green, pin is pretty close. “Easy job for the 60,” I say with an all-too-confident tone
I lob the ball up but it goes a little left and short of where I want it. It slowly starts to roll away from the hole, then off the edge of the green, then down an embankment on the rough off the green. Hits the cart path and gains a little steam, starts rolling off the edge through the woods. The woods weren’t too brushy, so it just kept rolling.
My ball ended up in the middle of the next fairway over. I was 7 feet from the pin. My dad is just hollering laughing the entire time. I picked up my ball, wrote down a triple booger and went to the cart lmao
Best part of the story? I left my putter in the grass right next to the green where I chipped from and had to turn back at the next green

That’s like 80% due to a crazy ass green and 20% due to bad putting. Seems like it wasn’t the worst putt in the world. That thing took a 90% turn.

Not impressed. I can do that.

I putted into a bunker on 18 at Cabot Links with a ton of people all around.

My buddies and I play a game called ‘Putt Olympics’
Everyones 1-putt is worth 1-4 dots, from closest to furthest on the green. So if you’re furthest out once we’re all on the green, your 1-putt if made, is worth 4 dots.
If you 3-putt, it’s +1 dot to everyone else in the group.
We don’t have a rule for if you putt in to a bunker though, think I need a rule revision now.

I’m hitting pw 9/10 times there. Other 1/10 times I’ll use a 60 and hit a low spinner but only when I’m really on.

Is that Micah Morris?

I don’t have super great “golf sense” when it comes to course design sometimes so I look at a particular hole and I’ll be like “What a weird place for a bunker” then find our shortly after that it’s location was very intentional.

This happened because he carried the pocket ball
